Every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., Chez Georges welcomes the Alex Swing Events collective which offers a varied and quality program, following a repertoire of swing / gypsy jazz, the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, and many others!

Chez Georges is a very nice wine bar on Rue des Canettes, with a magnificent vaulted cellar in the basement, transformed on Tuesdays into a concert cellar.

Born from a common love for Slavic and Gypsy music, Tchayok made his debut in 2012 in the Alps. The trio is made up of Vladimir and Romain Gourko, two brothers of Russian-Ukrainian origin, and Florian Vella. All three guitarists and singers, they also play the balalaika (prima and double bass). After their first album Zavarka, the three musicians released Touda Siouda in 2022.

Inspired by this traditional music and their multiple influences (jazz, swing, South American music), they revive the style with original compositions and arrangements where written music rubs shoulders with the spontaneity of improvisation. The wild gypsy rhythms and heartbreaking romances are interpreted with poetry, nuances, virtuosity; and are magnified by the power of three harmonized voices.
