Composer and arranger, pianist David Bressat is an active and recognized musician on the jazz scene in France and abroad. David Bressat has played alongside such renowned musicians as Marcus Strickland (album in 2011), Dave Lieman, Dee Dee Bridgewater and trumpeter David Enhco. David has recorded some twenty albums, including nine under his own name, and has played in numerous solo, trio, quartet, quintet and even Big Band formations.
In 2023, a new French Connection repertoire was created, giving birth to a new album that continues the project of the pianist and his group. David rediscovers 8 jazz and French chanson classics through unique arrangements.
The album includes arrangements of La Bohème (C. Aznavour), Padam, padam (E. Piaf), C'est si bon (Y. Montant) and Après un rêve (G. Fauré). The trio welcomes three artists to collaborate on two tracks: Lou Rivaille, Maud Fournier and Caroline Bugala.

David Bressat: piano
Florent Nisse: double bass
Charles Clayette: drums
