O'djila

Every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., Chez Georges welcomes the Alex Swing Events collective, which offers a varied and quality program, following a repertoire of swing / gypsy jazz, the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, and many others!

Chez Georges is a very pleasant wine bar on rue des canettes, with a small cabaret in a magnificent vaulted cellar, ideal for shows! 

Sometimes euphoric and festive, sometimes melancholic, O’djila is the richness of 4 talents from here and there. Intense and colorful music, with Slavic and Gypsy accents that warm your soul and heart with their Balkan melodies.

Taking up the tradition of cultural and musical mixing of the Gypsies, O'djila's repertoire is based on the various folklores of the countries that the Roma people have crossed, bringing their particular sensitivity to it.

The group thus revisits the popular songs left by these travelers according to their
peregrination in Eastern Europe. The melancholy of certain pieces, however, does not make us forget the festive character of O’djila.

Rich in cross-influences and harmonious mixing, O’djila’s songs speak to the heart of the audience. The diversity of the backgrounds of the musicians who communicate with talent and generosity their passion for Gypsy music is also the great wealth of the group.
