Jazz District Festival #3
Jazz District Festival
Jazz District Festival is a friendly and musical event in the heart of the GoodPlanet Foundation's tree-lined park that takes place on the last weekend of August. Organized by Art District Radio, this new jazz festival welcomes four groups over two afternoons as well as two 30-minute showcases selected at the end of the springboard organized in partnership with the Groover platform and CMDL (Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood).
This festival is dedicated to promoting jazz to as many people as possible by allowing access to concerts for free and by developing a varied program that opens up to current jazz. While jazz musicians formed a collective during the confinement for a "Call to a Living Music Ecology," Jazz District Festival is part of these new concerns that link music and the environment. As a free entry, this festival is charitable to support and support the environmental commitment of the GoodPlanet Foundation. 100% of the proceeds from bar and meals will be donated to the Foundation to help fund the free-entry events it organizes every weekend from March to December, which aim to raise public awareness of the environment and its issues.
