Jimmy Felvia Trio

While a music student, he was surrounded by talented young musicians which lead to the Jimmy Felvia trio, jazz music based on Caribbean rhythms. His first album, Sweet Caraib’, released a few years after, was a big success in the French West Indies (double nomination to the SACEM award 2008). In 2013 he released his second album with colors and sounds Urban Jazz. In parallel with his projects, he supports and works with artists from diverse and varied backgrounds such as Sulaiman Hakim, Chyco Simeon, Mario Canonge, Victor O, Maurice Bouchard, Franck Nicolas, and many others. Jimmy Felvia is a true lover of music and does not hesitate to take us on a journey through his work of rhythmic and harmonic research which he draws from deep within him and his roots.
