Urban woman, up and coming artist, Céline Languedoc was born in Paris with Afro-Caribbean origin. She has, since childhood, shown an artistic and musical gift and has a passion for singing. Very early she was a soloist in the choir of her church, where she interpreted hymns and classic gospel songs filled with hope and freedom. Performing with different groups, professionals in the industry begin to take notice. She touched many different types of music like soul, funk, jazz, pop and world music. But her heart stayed anchored in her caribbean heritage. In 2007, Céline obtained a role in the musical adaptation of Walt Disney's The Lion King in Paris France (Mogador Theater). She was featured as the lead character Shenzy for 3 years. Encouraged with these experiences and encounters, Céline is coming up with her first album and a goal: To bring her message of love, peace, and hope to the world. She expresses and engages herself through the poetry of creole, a language filled with softness and warmth. Today Céline's passion for music stays intact, persuaded above all, that love remains universal and eternal.
