Grant Stewart, a gifted, early musician, has studied with masters such as Donald Byrd, Barry Harris and Joe Lovano. His artistic path crosses among others that of Curtis Fuller, John Hendricks, Bob Mover, Brad Mehldau, Al Gray... Rich of meetings and experiences his power of play knows how to combine at the same time toises and relaxations, of the same style as Sonny Rollins and Dexter Gordon. Grant is one of the most powerful designers of the moment and ardent representative of the New York style. He is a saxophonist 1st class who settles on a stage accompanied by the cream of European jazz!
