Jazz@Colbert - Isabelle Seleskovitch

With these experiences and ready to reveal the personal universe of her own songs, Isabelle Seleskovitch recorded her first solo album in April 2018: About a Date. The album combines jazz standards and the singer's original compositions, thought out and harmonized in the same old style aesthetic. She surrounds herself for the occasion with a talented jazzmen's team: Laurent Marode (piano and arrangements), Nicholas Thomas (vibraphone), Fabien Marcoz (double bass), Mourad Benhammou (drums) and Sébastien Giniaux (guitar) as guests on two tracks. Samuel Navel takes care of the sound recording and mixing. They record live acoustic recordings at La Frette Studios, in the city of La Frette-sur-Seine where Isabelle Seleskovitch grew up.
About a Date is released in spring 2019, distributed by the Black & Blue label in physics and digital. It was presented to the public in April in Paris during an official release evening at Sunset-Sunside, which was a great success. In the meantime, Isabelle Seleskovitch is scheduled for the second edition of the Gulf Stream Jazz Festival in July 2019, opening for the famous American saxophonist Kenny Garrett
