Mélanie Dahan Sextet

Below the tender clear and precise voice of Mélanie Dahan springs a deep fire, an epic force which transports us through the modernity of current jazz, French style. Poetry in the highest sense of the word, carried with class by a strong and assertive female leader, an intense singer, obsessed with good taste who, for her new album, knows how to surprise us again. She will celebrate on 3/10/20 at Sunside the release of her 4th album, "LE CHANT DES POSSIBLES", an assumed album of French poetic Jazz. On the program: original compositions inspired by pianist Jeremy Hababou, around texts by contemporary French authors and poets (Michel Houellebecq, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Andrée Chedid ...)
