The Shah of Persia in Jerusalem, a very cool Yiddishe Mama, Mozart dancing salsa or Chopin playing tango. Impossible, really ? And yet it's the journey entitled "nothing is lost, eveything is transformed" offered by Philippe Zygel, a classical formed pianist, converted to jazz and marked by Jewish origins from Iran and Poland, with influences from Latin America a region he's travelled across as a press reporter. His trio that escapes from traditional swing style in order to create a colorist atmosphere explores the bridge between classical music and the free improvisation of jazz. Philippe Zygel plays with the drummer Nicolas Signat who like him discovered jazz music learning at first by himself and the double bassist Gabriel Pierre.
