Le 1905 Invite Noe Codjia

Noé Codjia is a French jazz trumpeter. A student of classical music for many years, he was introduced to jazz at the end of his classical studies. In 2014, he obtained his DEM in both disciplines. That same year he joined the prestigious American university, The New School For Jazz And Contemporary Music. His experience in New York is rich in encounters, progress and experiences. There, he studied with renowned musicians such as Jimmy Owens, Jeremy Pelt, Ralph Alessi, and Marcus Printup. He will have the opportunity to play alongside musicians like Johnny O'Neal, Josh Evans, Wynton Marsalis. Throughout his stay in New York, Noé plays with bands as a leader and sideman. He has the opportunity to perform in many jazz clubs such as the Shrine, Silvana, Tomi Jazz, Club Bonafide... He has also frequented summer jazz festivals such as JAZZ IN MARCIAC where he has been playing for two years. Noé Codjia returns to Paris in 2016 where he settles.
