In Inventions / Reinventions, while playing Bach's original compositions in sequence, Dan Tepfer creates his own inventions for the missing keys, in free improvisation. To do this, he follows the logic behind Bach's original pieces, in which simple musical ideas venture into foreign keys before returning home.
