Matthieu Bordenave "Motian In Motion"

French saxophonist Matthieu Bordenave and English guitarist Rob Luft both belong to the new generation of artists recorded by the major German label ECM Records. After several productions acclaimed by international critics (revelation, Indispensable 2020 Jazzmagazine). The two musicians present a new project exploring the music of one of the greatest composers of jazz at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries: the American drummer Paul Motian - author of superb music which combines his Armenian origins as well as a freedom and melodic strength inherited from the musical experiences of the 60s.
