Mark Priore is one of the most talented pianists of today’s jazz scene. His first album, “Initio”, should be taken as a strong aesthetic manifesto in which he exposes his influences and roots by mixing genres and creating a unique and clear artistic line. One of his main influence is Haendel’s baroque side that he mixes with jazz. All of this is filled with many subtle references to legendary jazz trios.
