International Jazz Day in Paris
Proclaimed in November 2011 by UNESCO, the International Jazz Day takes place each April 30 in a hundred countries on 5 continents, to promote jazz as an element of universal dialogue and peace between peoples.
For the 2019's edition, in Paris and Region, attend multiple concerts, a conference on Afro-Caribbean jazz legacy organized by PARIS JAZZ CLUB in partnership with the City Hall of the 1st district of Paris, but also an exceptional concert by Sarah LENKA Quintet with special guest for the occasion the Singer Ben l'Oncle Soul, at 6pm under the Canopy of the Forum les Halles.
A stone’s throw from the legendary jazz clubs on Rue des Lombards will allow the general public to pursue the adventure of jazz in the places that welcome it throughout the year in the heart of the capital. Also discover below the whole program of the Jazz Day festivities in the four corners of the Parisian Region!
